Fast RCS Pattern Fill Using AWE Technique - Antennas and Propagation, IEEE Transactions on

چکیده
An extrapolation technique is adapted to predict the monostatic radar cross-section (RCS) pattern from a few pattern value calculations. This approach eliminates a need to resolve the system when an iterative solver is employed. A three-dimensional application is considered to demonstrate the accuracy of the technique.

Spherical Wave Near-Field Imaging and Radar Cross-Section Measurement - Antennas and Propagation, IEEE Transactions on
The paper presents a new inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) algorithm intended for radar cross-section (RCS) imaging and measurement from scattered fields. The method, based on a spherical-wave near-field illumination of the target, overcomes the requirement for an expensive compact range facility to produce a plane wave illumination. The formulation and the implementation of the algorithm...
متن کاملFast training algorithms for multilayer neural nets
An algorithm that is faster than back-propagation and for which it is not necessary to specify the number of hidden units in advance is described. The relationship with other fast pattern-recognition algorithms, such as algorithms based on k-d trees, is discussed. The algorithm has been implemented and tested on artificial problems, such as the parity problem, and on real problems arising in sp...
متن کاملA Dual-Polarized Slot Antenna for Millimeter Waves - Antennas and Propagation, IEEE Transactions on
We describe a new dual-polarized slot antenna to be used with quasi-optical devices such as superconductor-insulatorsuperconductor (SIS) mixers at millimeter and submillimeter wavelengths. The radiation and impedance characteristics of the antenna were obtained from a moment-method calculation. The antenna has an excellent radiation pattern, a low impedance, wide bandwidth, and low cross polari...
متن کاملPlane-Wave and Vector-Rotation Approximation Technique for Reducing Computational Complexity to Simulate MIMO Propagation Channel Using Ray-Tracing
This paper proposes new techniques to simulate a MIMO propagation channel using the ray-tracing method for the purpose of decreasing the computational complexity. These techniques simulate a MIMO propagation channel by substituting the propagation path between a particular combination of transmitter and receiver antennas for all combinations of transmitter and receiver antennas. The estimation ...
متن کاملFast Solution Methods in Electromagnetics - Antennas and Propagation, IEEE Transactions on
Various methods for efficiently solving electromagnetic problems are presented. Electromagnetic scattering problems can be roughly classified into surface and volume problems, while fast methods are either differential or integral equation based. The resultant systems of linear equations are either solved directly or iteratively. A review of various differential equation solvers, their complexi...
